---+ T0 trigger input board (module3), 11.12.2008 The spare T0 trigger input board (module3) was measured 11.12.2008.
Their DIM server was used to
control the signal sent to CTP L0 inputs.
All the inputs signals (toggling, signature, random,
normal) were measured with snapshot memory, and gave
results as expected.
| signal | Switchin | CTPin | Signature| DIMnumber | Polarity | |0T0C | 42 | 17 | 70 | 1 | P | |0TVX | 40 | 18 | 72 | 3 | P | |0T0A | 41 | 3 | 71 | 2 | - | |0TSC | 39 | 5 | 73 | 4 | P | |0TCE | 38 | 6 | 74 | 5 | P |
Signal 0T0A: we tried with P and N polarity,
with exchanged cables 0T0A 0TCE on T0 side. Conclusion:
the cable connected to switch input 41 is not correct.
- with toggling it is always ON,
- with signaure, the measured activity is ~37000
(expected ~10000),
- with random signal, the activity was 5000 (expected 500),
- with normal signal, we see some spurious signals (expected 0)

Than we arranged toggling on all cables
and exchanged the cables just after CTP patch panel, i.e.

Patch panel cableID signal seen in L0 SSM
1.
Bottom/B/17 -> Cable16 -> Switch alwaysON
Bottom/B/20 -> Cable13 -> Switch Toggling
2.
Bottom/B/17 -> Cable13 -> Switch Toggling
Bottom/B/20 -> Cable16 -> Switch alwaysON

Conclusion:
The patch cable 16 connected
Rack25/Patch panel/bottom/B/17 -> CTPSwitch Rx-38
is damaged.
