"To verify trigger efficiency obtained from simulation we use Lb --> J/psi Lambda events triggered by independently from reconstructed Lb candidate as unbiased sample. In such events trigger efficiency is N(TOS)/(N(TOS)+N(TIS)) where N(TOS) (N(TIS)) is number of candidates triggered on signal (independent of signal). We find efficiency ... which is consistent with one derived by simulation."
