Summary

Juraj Bracinik has worked in Particle Physics research for more years than he likes to remember, mostly based on experiments at CERN and DESY. He currently specialises in the development of triggering systems.

Juraj initially worked on the NA49 experiment at the CERN SPS accelerator, particularly on detailed detector (TPC) simulation, calibration and data analysis. From 2001 until 2008 Juraj worked on the H1 experiment at HERA, DESY, mainly focusing on the L1 Liquid Argon calorimeter trigger, LAr calorimeter and charm physics. Since 2008 he has been a member of the Birmingham ATLAS group, where he is deeply involved in the activities of Level-1 Calorimeter Trigger group. He has also recently joined the Birmingham effort in the DUNE collaboration.

Teaching:

- Object oriented programming in C++ (year 3)

- Group Studies in Particle Physics (year 3)

- Hight PT Physics at the LHC (lectures for postgraduate students)
