Dr A Shepelev

Position:Research Fellow
Projects:Silicon detector R&D
Room:West 321

Artem obtained his PhD in experimental semiconductor physics from the Ioffe Institute in 2023. His main field of research is Silicon detector response to irradiation for collider facilities. He has particular interests in non-equilibrium processes in p-n junctions and carrier transport at cryogenic temperatures. His international collaborations include membership of the CERN RD50 collaboration. His professional skills include conducting experiments, device characterisation via various methods, data processing, analysis and numerical modelling (mostly in Python).
