Ian Andrews is artist in residence with the Research and Cultural Collections,
University of Birmingham. Working in collaboration with particle
physicist Kostas Nikolopoulos.
Exploring connections between the world of the artist and the particle
physicist. Comparing the Collider and the Sketchbook as arenas were
different elements are brought together. These active processes, sometimes violent,
create and examine the
visible traces of hidden interactions that could change the way we understand the world
around us.
