Fellowships

Following the tradition of the BEACH conferences, the organising committee is offering up to five fellowships to help with the participation costs or early-career researchers (PhD awarded not more than five years prior to conference start date) from developing nations. Each fellowship will fully cover the conference fee and accommodation.

Applications should be emailed to beach2014@hep.ph.bham.ac.uk, and should include a cover letter, an abstract, and a letter from the director of the applicant's institution. The letter must stipulate that the home institution will fully underwrite the cost of round-trip travel to Birmingham, and any other necessary expenses not covered by the fellowship.

Priority will be given to applicants who have not been funded in the previous BEACH conferences and who are not employed by an institution in Western Europe, North America or Japan.

The deadline for the applications is 15 May 2014.
