Cloning rows
Adding new rows
New entries/rows in the folder can be created by cloning existing ones. Right-click on any field in a row and select Clone rows to make a copy of the row.
New row cloned
Newly cloned rows will have a cyan background. The various fields (except Channel Id, Since and Until) in this newly created row can now be modified.
Getting ready to bulk fill
- left-clicking with the Ctrl key depressed for non-contiguous fields,
- left-clicking with the Shift key depressed to select the start and end fields of a contiguous block of fields.
When the fields have been selected, right-click on any one of the selected fields and select Fill.
Bulk filling of selected fields
A Fill Cells Dialog will appear to enable you to provide the desired value. In all cases, ACE will check the type of the value you have provided and reject those with the wrong type.
Committing changes
Once all fields of cloned rows have been populated with the desired values, it is important to commit these changes to the COOL database. Click on the Commit button in the toolbar or select Commit from the Folder menu bar. Once a folder's changes have been successfully committed, all cloned rows (rows with cyan background) will be listed as normal rows.
