ACE is developed and maintained by Chun Lik Tan (Alvin), a member of the Particle Physics Group at the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom. The ACE project was initiated by the ATLAS Level-1 Calorimeter Trigger collaboration to make convenient modifications to trigger calibrations stored in COOL databases.
