Particle Physics Seminar

Date: Wednesday 27th October 2004

Title: Dalitz plot analysis of charged B meson decays at BaBar

Speaker: Sian Morgan (Birmingham)

Abstract

The BaBar experiment is studying all types of CP violation in the B meson system. The experiment is located at the electron/positron storage ring PEP-II at SLAC, which produces millions of pairs of B and Anti-B particles. This seminar discusses the decay B+ -> K+ pi+ pi- and presents measurments of the contributing intermediate resonance states using a Dalitz Plot analysis

This Particle Physics Seminar will take place in Seminar Room 2 (room 106), Physics West, at 1315. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be served at 1300.
