Abstract
Measurements of loop processes are of interest as they are sensitive to new
physics. In particular, contributions from virtual new physics particles could
make such processes sensitive to mass scales inaccessible by the so-called
direct searches at the Large Hadron Collider. Recent rare decay measurements
made at the LHCb experiment have shown several anomalies with respect to the
predictions of the Standard Model. These anomalies and their theoretical
interpretation will be discussed.
