Current and Future Long Baseline Neutrino Experiments

Lee Thompson (Sheffield University)

Abstract

The talk will review current long baseline neutrino oscillation experiments including T2K and Nova and will look at what we have learned from these experiments, inĀ  terms of neutrino oscillation physics. The presentation will also look to the future and will discuss the next generation of long baseline experiments such as LBNE in the US and HyperKamiokande in Japan that are currently being proposed. The experimental designs and potential physics reaches of these projects will be discussed.
