Beauty to Doubly Open Charm Decays at LHCb

Fionn Bishop (Cambridge University)

Abstract

Beauty to doubly open charm decays at LHCb Decays of beauty mesons to two open charm mesons provide a window into both Standard Model and Beyond Standard Model physics. Decays of the Bc meson to two D mesons may provide sensitivity to the CKM phase gamma and also improve understanding of the Bc meson. The results of a search for these decays in 9fb-1 of proton-proton collisions with the LHCb detector will be presented. Measurements of CP asymmetries in B meson decays to two D mesons, which could provide sensitivity to Beyond Standard Model physics, will also be discussed.
