What lattice QCD can do for experiment

Christine Davies (Glasgow University)

Abstract

I will describe recent calculations using lattice QCD that aim to provide accurate tests that can be used, along with experiment, to constrain new physics beyond the Standard model. Examples include B-meson mixing and the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon. I will also discuss prospects for the future with STFC's new DiRAC High Performance Computing Facility.
