Abstract
Lattice QCD is playing a crucial role in precision tests of the Standard
Model by predicting hadronic matrix elements (decay constants, form factors,
...) model-independently. After providing an overview of what can be
expected from state-of-the-art lattice QCD computations (and also, what can
not yet be expected), I will provide examples for how experiment and theory
work hand in hand towards over-constraining SM parameters, concentrating on
Quark Flavour Physics. I will close with an overview of new challenges and
opportunities.
