A manageable subset of a simulated LHeC measurement of the reduced diffractive cross section sigma_r^D = F₂^D - (y² / Y₊) F_L^D is tabulated below. The x_IP, beta and Q² values and uncertainties may be applied to any model. In this table, the central data values are an essentially arbitrary extrapolation of an old H1 fit. The statistical uncertainties (essentially negligible) and kinematic coverage represent first estimates of what is achievable with one year's data (1 fb^-1) and scattered electron acceptance up to 179^o with a 70 GeV electron beam. Systematic errors of 5% are assumed, a value which will depend strongly on forward instrumentation.
