From: Calice UK software collaboration [CALICE-UK-SW@LISTSERV.CCLRC.AC.UK] on behalf of David Ward [drw1@hep.phy.cam.ac.uk] Sent: 30 January 2006 14:38 To: CALICE-UK-SW@LISTSERV.CCLRC.AC.UK Subject: [CALICE-UK-SW] Mokka files Dear all, At last week's meeting I was asked to make some MC files available for comparison with test beam data. I have generated 4 runs of 100k events. All with the latest Geant4 and Mokka. Each file is about 500 MB (mainly owing to the drift chamber and scintillator hits). They are available on the web as follows: http://www.hep.phy.cam.ac.uk/~drw1/calice/G4_100122_Mokka5.5.slcio http://www.hep.phy.cam.ac.uk/~drw1/calice/G4_100123_Mokka5.5.slcio http://www.hep.phy.cam.ac.uk/~drw1/calice/G4_100134_Mokka5.5.slcio http://www.hep.phy.cam.ac.uk/~drw1/calice/G4_100137_Mokka5.5.slcio and can be copied using wget (for example). They are supposed to emulate the conditions of four corresponding data runs: 100122 (1 GeV normal incidence, centre of wafer 5) 100123 (2 GeV; same wafer) 100134 (3 GeV; same wafer) and 100137 (1 GeV; centred at intersection of four wafers). This number of events takes about 1 day/GeV to generate on one cpu, so it's easy to create other samples if people need. Let me know if you have problems copying them, I may need to change file protection. Good luck, David. +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Prof. David R.
